2nd grade Rainbow Sculptures

So glad @artfulmarvels posted this wonderful project. The kids really enjoyed creating their rainbow sculptures. I taught them how to cut their paper with the fringe cut, fold their paper with the zigzag fold and the quill fold, and form their papers with the cylinder form that could then be stapled into a heart or teardrop. This project inadvertently taught the whole class safe stapler basics, and they enjoyed having unlimited stapler freedom. They had the option of adding yarn to their sculptures to hang it. Will be in the rotation now.
