Laura Lee Chambers @2art.chambers posted some really cute 3D stars, and I used her stars as inspiration for this project.

We started with a star template. We talked about A/B, and we painted our stars red or blue. Then we drew designs on the unpainted part of the stars.

We cut our stars out and glued them to either red paper or blue paper.

Then we experimented with precut stars to create the most balanced compositions and glued them on.

This project is very short, sweet, well-received, and great for Veteran’s Day.

The colors were a little off in these since the pics were taken inside, but this idea is there. Enjoy!
